Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 6/23/18
Don’t under estimate the power of some rain and overcast skies to push the bass back into a feeding frenzy; when the rain came the bites got even stronger. There is no doubt Guntersville is back to its good-old-days and this summer is proving the long-awaited return to the top of the bass fishing in the country. Every time I start to see a slow down we get a weather change and it picks back up!
We did very little creative fishing this week as we worked traditional baits all week long; top-water plugs, Missile Bait D-Bombs and their “48’ stick baits and Tight-Line football jigs. We fished 15 ft. up most of the week and had days with just gobs of fish every day! Fishing is easy right now and if we can keep some fronts coming in once a week or, so I suspect it will be one of the best summers we have had in a long time.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water; we have some great sponsors products, Lowrance Electronics, Duckett rods and reels, T&H marine products, Power Pole, Vicious Line and more. Looking for a way to entertain your customers let us plan with you a fall fishing trip; it’s a great way to show your customers appreciation for their business.
