Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 6/24/17
The lake from end to end is producing better than any time in the past five years; if your still concerned that the lake is down you need to just go fishing and you will see those days are over. There are 40 to 70 bass a day caught in certain patterns and fishing couldn't be better.
The good old days are back and locating fish is the key, your electronics is everything right now; when you scan them, and find them, then you're catching simple as that. The top water bite is great; Picasso buzz baits, Tight-Line football jigs, Missile Bait D-Stroyers and SPRO crank baits are all producing it is and appears will be a blessed summer on the lake. The bass are 8 to 17 ft. and competing for your baits so it's fun and relatively simple once you have located them. Note (my report is second hand as I am off the water for a short period of time.)
