Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 6/28/15
This summer is shaping up to be as good as any summer I can remember, the bass are very active in most cases and big fish seem to be more the norm. This past week was another great week of fishing, with one exception we caught lots of fish and had some great size every day.
I believe that fishing will just continue to improve and as the summer goes on we will reap the benefits of a great season so far with more to come. The grass is thickening on the lake and signs of it over the top are present during the lowest levels of the lake and this will show even more as we move forward into the summer. The jig bite continues to be the best of all presentation with Tight-Line ½ oz. football jig in their newest big hook Mussel Crawler version in Guntersville Special color with a Missile Bait D-Bomb as a trailer being my most productive bait. I did have one great day this past week on a SPRO Little John DD 70 crank bait in Nasty Shad color producing some monster fish for me this past Tuesday.
Fishing is great the heat has only slowed their presence in the mid day with the mornings and late afternoons being great fishing. Come fish with me no one will treat you better!
