Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 6/1/14
This past week on Guntersville proved to be up and down for me! Timing was everything, as some days it was easy to catch fish and some days or times of the day we struggled. It appears to me that the bass are moving to areas and depths that are just different than it has been causing me to do more searching than many years past, this time of year.
I spent many days this past week teaching, there seems to be a good number of people trying to learn to fish the ledges and become more proficient at reading and using today's electronics adding increased pressure to the deep fish. Each day was different but when it was on for the most part we slammed the fish, but if it wasn't the day went by with a lot of dead time.
This past week was all about fishing deep with Tight-Line jigs football head jigs and working deep running SPRO crank bait off the ledges. We had a lot of success this past week, there was some down time but fishing is great. Come fish with me no one will treat you better!
