Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 6/12/11
I only spent the first three days of the week on the water this past week as I enjoyed a few days off down at the beach for the rest of the week. The days I was on the water fishing was excellent we caught plenty of fish and had plenty of fun. The heat was certainly tough on you but if you kept your neck wet and drank plenty of water it was certainly tolerable.
Most of the days we caught somewhere near 50 fish each day, with the top water bite being the most fun, the trouble was it only lasted a couple of hours each day. We did catch plenty of fish on worms and Tight-Line jigs football head jig and found the better fish in 10 or more feet of water.
I'll be back on the water starting in the morning, I expect fishing will be great and can't wait to get out there. I have some openings this week and next because of cancellations due to the heat, come fish with me I have days available to fish with you.
