Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 6/23/12
I am once again passing on second hand information, as my time on the lake has been limited; the good news is all my little time consuming things are about over and I should be fishing about everyday going forward baring my health issues taking a turn back.
The good news there is still some good fishing on the lake, the top water bite is still fairly good it doesn't last as long as it did a few weeks ago; however being in the right place at the right time can offer up some great results. Once the top water bite is gone it's been all about the worm bite, you have to work it slow and hit your target for results but the fish are biting you just have to have a little patience.
As usual if you're good with your electronics you can find fish stacked along the points and drops off the ledges and fishing them with Carolina rigs or a Tight Line football head jigs as worked well. Regardless of what method of fishing you choose or you make in the method to fish, use thin line and it will offer better results especially off the grass in the deeper water.
