Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 6/28/14
This past week had some good times and some slow times, but all wound up we had a good week for the later part of June! The fish are suspending and finding size is tough but bites were fairly good with the exception of one day. I believe it is just of test of endurance if you keep at it you eventually find the fish feeding and have a good day!
There has been some movement this past week of the fish to the grass moving off the ledges and back to the main humps and points where the grass is; the water temperature is moving up and the bass are seeking cooler water around the grass edges.
We went back to a Texas rig Mister Twister big worm this week along with Tight Line swim jigs with Missile Bait Shock Wave swim baits working around the grass and the deeper points. We are also cranking the grass edges with a Little John Spro crank bait DD 60 off the ledges and finding some good fish.
The SPRO frog only Tournament is on tap for 9/6/14 the expected pay out for the winner is $20,000 the biggest and best ever and you can join the fun. Sign up now!
