Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/1/17
It's been an amazing spring and early summer for Guntersville, fishing is really good it's continuing into the summer months and you really can be just a novice and catch fish. There is just bunches of small fish, making some of the easy baits like Missile Bait "48" easy to fish and they are getting lots of bites.
There are many patterns catching fish right now; the more experienced fisherman is finding plenty of deep fish in the 16 to 25 ft. of water using SPRO crank bait Little Johns DD 70's or Tight-Line football jigs and firing up big school of fish. There are many ways to do this right now Picasso bladed jigs, or deep swim baits are also working. Your experience and confidence can lead you to these patterns and catch fish.
