Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/25/15
It can be said that the change in weather mid week to the rainy overcast day really turned the fish on; it was definitely a day to remember if you were on the water. The balance of the week was just ok as the sun turned hot and the dog days came back to haunt the fisherman. All said though there is still enough action for you to head to the water and enjoy a day of fishing.
The best news of all is I finally got some consistent action on Tight-Line swim jigs rigged with Missile Bait Shock Wave swim baits. This time last year this bait really produced for me but until this week I was not as successful as the past. It's on now though, ½ oz. Tight Line swim jig rolled over the top of the open grass made a big difference for me.
I believe the bite is improving as we head into August and the top water will continue to get better also; the SPRO frog tournament on Oct. 10 is looking to be another great event and the frog bite is getting better every day. Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you, no one will treat you better. I have days and guides available now and all fall long call me I'll look forward to hearing from you!
