Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/12/14
This past week with cloudy rainy days for the most part of the week really made for some great days on the water. I only struggled one day and that really was still a pretty good day as our fish were good size making for some exciting times on Guntersville. With that said I also got a chance to fish from the lower end of the lake to past BB Comer Bridge getting an opportunity to work a very big portion of Guntersville over a period of 5 days.
The week for me was pretty much all about Missile Baits Shock Wave swim baits rigged on a Tight-Line white shad colored swim jig, as it was by far the best producer of fish all week long. To me swim baits are all about tail action and the Missile Bait tail action is tight and sudden creating bites all week while other swim baits I used had a different action. The grass is thickening up especially on the ledges moving the fish under the grass so they can hide from the sun.
Fishing is good and the action is consistent enough to enjoy a good day on the water, come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on Guntersville.
