Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/27/13
Fishing remains strong this past week, with plenty of action on several presentations from cranking to frog fishing. With the two big frog tournaments coming up, there has been a real strong frog bite and it is just getting better going into August.
We had an interesting week this past week producing two TV shows for different reasons. We spent two days with Hank Parker and his son Ben working a TV show; we put them on several great areas with lots of fish for them to produce their show. We also, spent a day producing a frog show for the up-coming Spro frog tournament with Benny Hull productions out of Tennessee to produce and kick off the up-coming Spro frog tournament on Sept. 7 at Goosepond; this was also very successful in the upper river area of the lake.
I am extremely excited about the up-coming month of August as the water is still cool compared to this time of year in the past, the grass is scattered and the bite is great and expect the same for August and on into the fall of the year. We just don't see many years like this with relatively cool summers and great summer time bites.
