Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/31/11
My report for this week is somewhat second hand as I spent most of the week doing some family type stuff. The fish however have been pretty cooperative as most fishermen had some pretty good days on the water especially early and late in the day. The amount of schooling fish have increased and if you were looking for bites they were easily chased and there was good action around the schooling bass just about all day long.
The bigger bites have been on Tight-Line jigs in 10 ft. or less of water around the grass and there has been some good action and good size caught this past week. August is a always a good month regardless of the heat, you can really have some fun fishing top water in several different ways in August.
Fishing is good the heat is tuff but time on the water is rewarding, there not a lot of traffic on the water and you can really have some good days; come fish with me I have days available to fish with you!
