Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/1/15
As we enter into the first week of August looking back at this past month and this past week the fishing for a hot July has been pretty good, this past week was no exception there are fish to be caught and most are catching them. Sure there is up and down times for all of us as the typical heat of the summer makes it tough, but if you stayed focused and didn't miss your chances you had a successful outing on Guntersville.
The good news is the frog bite seems to be taking off early this year fishing a SPRO frog over grass has been a pattern that worked for me all week long. We were blessed this past week with some cooler early morning weather making the activity early pretty darn good; lots of top water early and some good ledge fishing later on in the day. Tight-Line football jig is still producing with a Missile bait D-Bomb as a trailer, this has been great all summer and certainly this past week.
