Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/14/16
You would think with the overcast skies most of the week especially in the morning that the bite would have been pretty good, unfortunately it picked up only when the sun seemed to come out. Go figure; but that's the way it was.
I had one really good day this week and the others seemed a little slower especially if the clouds extended into the day. The good news was the SPRO frog bite is really starting to pick up especially on the days where we had some sun shine. The best bite for me was still the Tight-Line swim jig rigged with Missile bait Shock wave swim baits! Our best day found them grouped up on a point and we really slayed them when we got into it. The worm bite is still there and for sure some hit and miss patterns from 10 to 25 feet.
August has been cooler than July and if it continues we should really see the benefits of the cooling water over the next few weeks; come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. I have days and guides available to fish with you.
