Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/22/15
"Who would have thunk it;" this past week was cool and comfortable, the water temperatures dropped to the low 80's and the fishing picked up tremendously! August has come in like a lamb with some great weather to extend your day on the water and make it pleasant and comfortable.
Along with the great weather fishing was really good, the bigger fish were active and the days were really good all week long. The best news is the frog bite continues to improve and the fall fun has just begun. If you haven't gotten your registration in for the SPRO frog tournament coming up Oct. 10 best get to it; this year is going to be a special year for the frog bite! We also had some great fish on Tight-Line jigs swim jigs as the chasing activity is also picking up.
We have continued to also catch fish on Missile bait D-Bombs, D-Stroyers, and their Shock Wave swim baits.
If you have any questions about the up-coming SPRO frog tournament or need an entry form email me and I will send you one or be glad to try and answer any questions. This past week I picked Picasso Lures as a sponsor and I am looking forward to fishing with their great products. Come fish with me no one will treat you better!
