Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/29/15
This past week appeared to be drastically different from the front end of the week to the last; when the high pressure sunny days and north wind were upon us we struggled mightily only having few opportunities every day and if you missed them well you know! As the week progressed and we saw a little humidity and cloud cover fishing picked up some. By Wednesday morning the water temperatures on the surface were down to the mid 70's showing some great signs of change being right around the corner.
Seemed to me we were on a couple different patterns, the first few days was all about Tight-Line jigs swim jigs ½ oz. with Missile Bait Shock Wave swim baits; as the weather changed the top water bite came back catching fish on SPRO frogs and Picasso Lures buzz baits off the grass edges! With the addition of Picasso to my sponsors I now have many other lures to fish with as they make many different types of lures to present. One of their lures I am looking forward to fishing is their 2 oz. swim bait head with a big size 7 hook; this should be a great product on the deeper ledges this fall.
Come fish with me, no one will treat you better. I have days and guides available to fish with you. The fall bite is upon us and getting to the water will be some great times!
