Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/15/20
I cannot help to think that this summer heat has not really affected the bite as bad as I have seen it during other summers; we are catching fish having fun and having a good time. Although the bite has changed as it does every year the grass moves the fish but once you find them, they are bunched up and catching is great.
The bite except on windy days is just about exclusively on plastics, Missile bait D-bombs and 48 stick baits along with some finesse type big worms have been key. On windy days we find that the Picasso spinner bait is producing, and Tight-Line swim jig is also working for us. We are fishing 6 to 14 ft. of water looking for bait action.
Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you, need more than one boat not a problem we have a team of guides that work together and share information for you. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Boat Logix mounts, Mercury motors, Vicious Fishing, Navionics mapping, SPRO products, Duckett Fishing, Power Pole and more.
Do not forget the SPRO frog tournament is set for October 3rd get your registration in now; this always the best tournament on the lake every year!
