Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/17/13
If you like October weather in August, then you enjoyed a great week on the water! Not only did the weather make it enjoyable but the bass are moving and chasing like it is late September! Some presentations that I always use in the fall are already working, the Spro frog bite, fast moving swim baits and buzz-baits on top!
These are all fall presentations that are producing already in the middle of August; you just got to love it as we are well into some of the most fun times of the year. Nothing compares to top water fishing and we are definitely all over it right now.
The other important change is we are already seeing grass mats turn scummy and foamy and that my friends is a sign of good times to come! The milfoil will be the first to turn and produce holes that will position fish for the top water bite. The best is close; come fish with me fall fishing is close!
