Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/31/13
Fishing this past week has been a tail of many changes; one day good, one morning tough, another afternoon great! Constant change daily and from morning to evening! The good news is when it was good, it was really good, well the bad; you get it! The most consistent bite was on the Spro frog, we found that the sun pushed the bigger fish up under the grass and the common denominator, of sun made for some great catches!
The jig bite has been also pretty consistent throughout the week; we fished Tight-Line jigs in crawfish color, with Missile Bait D-Bomb trailers. This bite changed for me over the week, one day they were in 15 ft. of water and another they were stacked around the shallow grass, but the fish had good size and made for a lot of fun!
The Spro frog only Tournament is right around the corner 9/7/13, best get your entry in ASAP if you plan on fishing. Checks can only be accepted up until Tuesday the 3rd of Sept. but you can still enroll past that using a credit card or cash for your entry fee. Come fish with me I have days available to fish with you. No one will treat you better!
