Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/16/17
We are progressing into fall and fishing gets better every week, sure there is always a day here and there that you struggle but for the most part fishing is really good. The good news for the up-coming SPRO Tournament on 10/7/17 is that the frog bite is really good we had several days this past week where we caught more fish on a SPRO frog than any other bait.
The movement of the bass as they transition into fall has moved the fish and some of the spots you caught them in a few days ago may be different, but if you get to the transition spots in less than 12 ft. of water you will find the fish. The Missile Bait “48” stick bait is a really good down size choice right now, as it falls with a good attractive wobble and is producing lots of bites. We are also fishing Tight-Line swim jigs with small swim baits like the 4.5 inch Missile Bait Shock Wave swim bait; remember match the hatch.
Come fish with us I have days and guides available to fish with you, no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. Its fall and fishing will dazzle the most inexperienced fisherman you just need to get off the couch and get on the water. We fish with great sponsor baits, Duckett rods and reels, Vicious Line, T&H marine products, Lowrance Electronics, Power Pole and more.
