Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/17/16
There was a pretty good pick-up in activity this past week, as the fall bite is starting to show signs of getting better. Certainly it had a lot to do with being at the right place at the right time, but if you keep moving and working different presentations you found and opportunity to have a pretty good day if you could catch your bites.
The best part of it seemed to be that chasing baits were getting better; from top water to swim baits keeping your bait on the move with some erratic movement gave you the opportunity to get those fall type bites. It was also a good sign as the fishing day seemed to get longer. Giving you more opportunities on up in the day that certainly last week did not produce; at least for me. I found that several baits produced at different times, we caught fish on SPRO square bill Little John crank baits, SPRO frogs, Punisher Spinner baits, Tight-Line Swim jigs with Missile bait shock Wave swim baits and several off the grass top water baits making the day a lot more fun with many chances to put fish in the boat.
The fall is near and the bite is picking up; if we can just combine that with some pleasant fall type temperatures I believe we would see a really big pick up in fishing. Come fish with me no one will treat you better or see you have a great time on the water. I have days and guides available to fish with you; we fish with great sponsor baits, Duckett, Lews, Picasso and more.
