Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/24/16
With the roller coaster ride of the weather, setting record highs or equaling them, fishing continues on it's up and down patterns. You can go out there and say man fishing is good or you go and struggle from start to finish. The lake has its moments where you're happy and struggling, you just can't let it control you; just fish and stay focused.
There is for sure more chasing as it appears to be picking up every week, they are real small fish, for sure this year's spawn that are chasing moving baits, but it's a good sign for the future that we are seeing some small fish. I am mainly focusing on a few different patterns everyday as I look for chasing fish early with Tight-Line swim jigs rigged with Missile bait Shock Wave swim baits, SPRO rattle baits and Picasso chatter baits. When the day gets on I start looking for action around the mats with SPRO frogs and worms along the edges and move deeper as the day and sun moves up the horizon.
The SPRO frog only tournament Oct. 8 its time to get you entry in as the cut off is Oct. 4 so don't delay. Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. I have days and guides available to fish with you.
