Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/27/15
It's still tough out there a few decent days but not what I am accustomed to; we had one rainy day and that really picked up the bite on that day as the rain and cooler day time temperatures really made the day pleasant as well as the fish were very cooperative. The good news is that those of you who are getting ready for the upcoming SPRO frog tournament; the frog bite continues to get better every day. Most of our fish this past week were caught on SPRO frogs, the activity was good and the size was great.
It's also changing every day as the mats are getting cheesy, the bream are popping through eating on bugs, and you can see them as well as hear them pop through. I am concerned as the amount of bait we are seeing and the large number of bass we are catching that look under nourished. I am not sure if this is a sign of feeding problems or just fish that have not feed or truly a lack of bait; it is concerning for sure.
October is just around the corner and the grass will cheese up quickly and fishing will get better every day; come fish with me no one will treat you better. I have days and guides available to fish with you!
