Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/5/15
The weather once again played a big role in the fishing this past week, the overcast days was much better than the sunny days for sure. The really good news is the lake is changing right in front of us as the grass is showing some signs of decaying from the reduced sunlight with the shorter days and the reduced day light.
The good news is when the fish were active they really ate your bait deep into their mouth showing signs of some fall aggressiveness in early September. As always is the case in the fall the top water activity is picking up with the bass feeding on a variety of top water baits? Picasso lures buzz baits really did well for me along with the SPRO frog, both these baits produced for me this past week. We're inching closer to the SPRO frog tournament coming up on October 10th. Get your entry in now to get the early boat number.
Fishing is certainly getting better with just a few more weeks of some cooling temperatures we should really be seeing some great increase in activity. The fall is not full yet I have days and guides available to fish with you; call me no one will treat you better!
