Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/13/14
The up and down fishing continued this past week, it appears the fishing is still in transition and getting the bass to bite consistently was challenging for sure. Having said that we also had some times where the bass responded very well, it was just in short time frames but with good results!
The presentations that have been successful over this time frame were pretty much what we have been doing for the past several weeks, fishing Tight-Line swim jigs in ½ oz. size in their white shad color, rigged with Missile Bait Shock Wave swim baits. We also pulled out the SPRO Little John 60 crank baits working it off points and river ledge areas with good results; coupled with some big worm fishing all was well with some good times on the water.
Don't delay the fall will come and go quickly and all of a sudden we will be in winter and you will have missed the fall fishing on Guntersville as it can be some of the best of the year. Come fish with me no one will treat you better or make sure you have a great day on the water.
