Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/15/12
This past week was the best week of the fall for me so far this season, we found good numbers of fish on most days and the days where the numbers weren't there the size was much better. Put the week all together and fall fishing is getting better every day. The important part is a variety of baits are catching fish, so you can fish fast or slow and catch fish.
The water temperature is dropping with the cool nights down bringing the water temperature to as low as 77 degrees and only warming during the day to about 82 degrees. The bait activity seems better every day, there is more schooling fish and the feeding activity is picking up! Although not all day long; but at some point during a day it appears the bass start feeding it could be at 2pm or it could be at 7am but it does occur, and if you're on the water you will benefit from it!
We caught fish on a variety of baits, Punisher Spinner baits there new short arm shad color, deep crank baits, Tight-Line jigs in his new Oil Slick color and Assassinator buzz baits, all caught fish!
