Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/15/13
This past week proved once again to be spotty fishing at best, there seemed to be a window of opportunity; if you were in the right place at the right time it was a good day! Unfortunately we missed that window some and struggled most of the week. Not all was bad as there seemed to be a mid to late morning bite off the ledges and cranking a Spro Little John crank bait in 15 to 20 ft of water paid off for a short period of the day.
We spent one day flipping 1 1/4 oz. Tight-Line jigs in scattered grass and did well but the timing was early, low light and as soon as the sun got in our face that ended it. We were fishing black and blue with D-Bomb trailers, and caught some good size doing it.
It's turning cool at night this should help make a marked improvement going forward into September. Come fish with me I have days available to fish with you!
