The Barkley Sound run of Chinook was forcasted to be the biggest Barkley Sound run in 20 years and is proving to be very consistent. There are quite a few spots along the shore that have been catching Chinook. The Coho have started to show up in good numbers in some places offshore, though most have been wild and we have been sticking where the larger Chinook are. We would guess fishing should stay good along the shore well into September, but it is always hard to predict the exact schedule of the Chinook.

Both anchovies and 3.5 inch Coyote and 3 inch Silver Horde spoons have been working.

Halibut:

We are getting larger halibut on anchor as well as smaller halibut trolled up at Northwest corner. The halibut are normally all over Big Bank, but have mostly been in one spot here.
