Water Temperature: 50
Water Clarity: 1 foot
Headed out today for only a couple of hours fishing the lower end of the lake. After about an hour of bitter cold I found a couple of fish. I fished open water humps looking for a deeper bite with the Jig(black/blue-green pumking trailer). Only had 3 bites on one hump in 12 feet of water before time ran out and had leave to take care of some other things going on. The rest of the week temps are dropping fast and by the end of the week they will be down right dangerous if your out on the water. Hope everyone stays safe and be sure to dress warm. Hope everyone has a great week and see you on the water.
I still have some open dates for Feb. and March if anyone is interested in a trip. Also, if you live near the lake or have any interest in the lake PLEASE try to make the meeting with the City of Scottsboro reguarding the grass situation in the Roseberry area. We need all the help we can get.
Oh, one more thing. The pic in this post was not boated on this trip out. I was seeing if I had the computer working right so I could post pics again. Just did not want to mislead anyone. It was caught about 3 weeks ago.
God Bless
