For the last couple days the bass have been biting on the Trout and Firetiger SteelShad lures on the outside edges of the pads and back in any sparce pads openings that can be found on teh St. Johns River .
We have also caught them in cuts that run off the river and on rocky or concrete areas where the water has good depth coming up to the rocks or concrete .
I have been bending them also so that they will swim up on their side and real close to the rocks if you bend it one way it will swim on its side that way and bend it the other and it will swim that way .
