Fishing threw the spring.

Report Date: May 3, 2011

This past 2 months has been pretty tough.

The wind is what is making it so.

Their a few nice snook around as well as reds.

When you can get offshore you should fish the rock holes or any structure you know about.

The tarpon are not here in any numbers as of now,but hopefully thew out the summer, when the weather slows down, everything should pick up.

At the present time if you get it right(meaning no wind)you'll do well on trout, cobia, tripltail, permit and tarpon offshore.

K.C. landed this nice tripletail on her last cast of the day.

Tight lines,

Capt. Bert Barkus
