Fishing with the Vikings from Detroit Michigan
April 21st, 2012
Today we fished with a father and his 2 sons that had to have some Viking Blood in them because we seemed to be the only boat that stayed and fished the whole trip.
It Was Rough and Rainy!!
All the same these guys were fine with the weather so off we went for a little deep-sea fishing off the coast of Fort Lauderdale with David and his two sons David and Jayson from Detroit Michigan.
We went trolling in good 5 to 6 foot sloppy seas and what made it even tougher was the fish were biting!
We were catching Mahia Mahia every time I would drive the boat under these birds.
I would troll by the bird catch a couple Mahia Mahia and then I would get away from them to give Greg a chance to re rig the baits.
When it was all said and done we were all laughing about our day of deep sea fishing BUT while it was going on it was tough and to boot these 3 guys were loving it witch is why I say they must have some Viking blood in them.
By the end of the trip we had at least a dozen or more Mahia Mahia and 1 kingfish and 1 big bonito.
David David and Jayson thanks for fishing with us I think I am still trying to get all the salt water out of my ears. (LOL)
