Hi Capt. Dave,
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the fishing trip! The boat, the equipment, the float system and your knowledge of trout made the day! "Float Fisherman Believer"
THIS IS WHAT I ALWAYS HEAR FROM MY CLIENTS.
Yes, the fishing is an all out R-I-O-T!
Since November, (our transitional time into the winter'ish season)the water temps got right, and the inshore/river/and inlet fishing is gone crazy.
Limits-limits-limits of big Speckled Trout & Redfish. I'm talking a standard Trout can be 3 pounds on some of my spot, some days, with fish 4-6 pounds not un-common.
Redfish, lite tackle fishing for small pups to 33 inchers is not a problem.
But then there's the Flounder bite. They are actually a by-catch of doing serious Trout fishing, on my "Float Rig", because they hang in the same area.
Every part of your fishing trip will be interactive. No sitting around staring at your rod tip.
I've taken steps to move an ole stand-by technique into the 21st century. My tackle is "tweeked" and so is my rigging methods when I put together the float rig.
Shallow or deep water, you'll catch'em.

The proof is in the fish box! I mean photo's.
