The Miramichi River in New Brunswick is one of the most productive rivers in the world for Atlantic Salmon.And produces nearly half of all rod caught atlantic salmon in North America.The Miramichi River has one of the longest Fishing seasons runing from April 15th till Oct the 15th.In April and May fishing is done by fishing from boat with guide using sinking lines the rest of the season most of the fishing is done by wading using floating lines.Atlantic Salmon can be taken on both wet and Dry fly.All Non Residents of New Brunswick Requires a guide when fishing on Atlantic Salmon waters.The 2006 season has been a very productive season with many big 30+ Salmon landed.
