With less than two weeks till opening day of Fishing Season on the Miramichi River The river ice is starting to opeen up in places and it looks like fishing should be ok to start on opening day.In April and May much of the fishing is done by fishing from boats using sinking lines and big flies.The rest of the season from June till closing on Oct 10 th Much of the fishing is done by wading using floating lines and smaller wet and dry flies.great time to enjoy the fishing after a long winter.
