Today, Patrick, Amy and Amy's parents joined Captain Paul and I for a deep sea fishing trip aboard the Lady Pamela IV. We left Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six Resort and Marina and began trolling seawitches and planners from the south as we made our way north. The King Mackerel fish kept us busy for over 2 hours. After enough trolling, we rigged up the live goggle eyes and pulled them from the out riggers. Usually, we would live bait kite fish but without the right amount of wind, it is nearly impossible. Plan B worked. It wasn't 15 minutes before we got a bite and missed our first Sailfish of the day. Captain Paul re-baited as I kept the boat moving in 110 – 165 ft of water. One hour before it was time to head back to the dock, we got a double header Sailfish bite. Patrick and Fred had a tough time during the fight but they got the job done.

Tight Lines!
