Fort Lauderdale Shark fishing was great today for Sean and Barb from Pittsburgh! With lots of projects to do on the boat today "real work" we were estatic when Sean and Barb walked up and asked to go. Sean an avid big game hunter and Barb first time fisherman loaded up and we shoved off. Sean wanted big game, he has never caught anything bigger than a mackeral. We put out the big baits on the big rods and we waited, and we waited. I just knew we would get the bite, it looked to fishy not to. Right about the 2 hour mark a big 7.5 ft hammerhead jumped on the top bait. To my surprise Barb jumped in the chair and went to battle. After about 20 minutes she hit her stride and got the big shark up where we pulled it in for a quick photo, measurement and release. Great Job!!
