Freshies Report
All fishermen whether they mainly fish saltwater or freshwater agree that the month of October is the best ever for "really catching fish!" I have always called this the "bulking up times" for fish. With water temperatures changing "fish got to move and re-situate!" This all boils down to you never know what you might catch! Here's tip that you can deposit into your "fish catching bank account!"
Lets just say, "It's a fall sunny morning." At this time you find that you have a clear water situation and your plan is to fish 1 to 4 foot of water. Here's my suggestion: Large mouth bass especially when dealing with this situation described that are holding on some sort of live weeds find both bottom worked and surface pulled lures particularly enticing. On the bottom I suggest the "world famous plastic worm." For the surface so with a lure that is going to offer the most action with the least amount of movement! The one secret to the getting your best "bite opportunity" is to put baits used into "slow motion!"
