Fishing has been a little slow lately due to high winds and slow tides! The wind over the past 2 weeks has caused the water to become off color and very dirty in certain areas. The areas that we had been catching our trout has not been as consistent as we like. We have had some rainy and windy days and that has hurt the trout bite, but we have managed some good trips anyway. The redfish have been very consistant over the last 2-3 weeks, keepers and over sized. We have been catching them on every trip and the big gulf trout and small sharks are still available too. Many of our customers over the past 2 weeks have caught their biggest fish ever. It may take 20-30 minutes to get those over sized reds in, but a 20-35 pound red is a blast to catch! We should see more keeper trout under the birds in the next couple of weeks. Right now most of those fish are under sized. Fall fishing is around the corner and it should be outstanding. In Nov. we will be running some discounted trips so check out our website for those specails. Well until next time, see you on the water.
