Were they lost? No! They were chasing an 80 foot pod of Bunker. The Bunker averaged 12 inches in lenght. The smallest Blue was over 3 feet! The Blues didn't want any snag n drops? The Bunker pod was only about 25-30 feet around when we got there from a tip off from an off duty employee at one of the local bait and tackle shops who was fishing himself, which was only about an hour later. Thanks Scotty! Bunker heads were washing up and only short Stripers on metal, Nothing hit the heads. We wound up South in Lavallette when it stopped because all the Bunker Got eaten! Some hike catchin and releasing 14-16 pound Blues every cast. This stopped at 1:30 P.M. The Blues continued South. Camera was left in beach buggy.
