The lake is 170.1 ft. msl, high pool is 172 ft msl, both generators are shut down and the lake is holding steady. The north end of the lake is stained to clear. Water temps are running in the mid 60s. High winds the last couple three weeks have caused most of our problems. T'is the season and good reports coming in across the lake. We're catching some good bass shallow on all sorts of baits. Top water plugs, stick baits, frogs, spinner baits, jerk baits, shallow diving crank baits and finesse plastics have all been productive from bank shallow to 12ft.

The Crappie are also picking up with some good reports coming out of 3 ft of water using a slip cork with a jig or shiner. Also a Beetle spin type lure fished on an ultra- lite spinning rig will pick up some fish and let you cover a lot of water until you find them stacked up.

The White Bass have been excellent the last month. We've been fishing the main lake river channel sandbars in 10 to 16 ft. of water with slab spoons.

The red clover is starting bloom along the roadside which is usually a good indication the bream will start bedding pretty soon.
