After being tied up for 3 days, today was a pleasure (weather wise) to be on the water. Morning started off with a couple drifts and some nice keepers. Bite was short lived as we lost the current. Anchored and tried chumming thinking maybe they would turn on again, no such luck. Put the jigs for the bluefish, another joke! Caught a handfull of fish, nothing like the life in the ocean yesterday. Water temp was 65, with the outgoing and West wind, thought for sure today would be the day, no such luck. Young fishermen, Ryan Silverman kept up his tradition of showing his Dad how to do it, with a nice keeper bass. Pool fish went 16 pounds.....Hopefully we'll find better action tomorrow.....Capt.ron
