This past week was once again just excellent fishing, I was on the water 5 days and had extremely successful trips most of the time. We had days with as many as 20+ bass, days with best of 5 over 20 lbs. and it seemed like everyday we caught one big fish or more. I fished with people who were Pre-Tournament fishing and folks just looking for a big fish, and some just looking for that top water bite.
Sunday I had a short day just fishing for a bite and a location and moving on for these guys practicing for a tournament. I must say it proved to be a great week on the water.
I will be back at it tomorrow with a full day early and a 3-hour Top Water Excursion in the evening. The North wind appeared to have slowed the bite a little this morning but I expect tomorrow would be fast and furious.
Most fish this week were caught on a worm, Tight-Line jig black and blue jig swimming it or a 1oz. Tight-Line red and blue jig while flipping the jig.
I have several open days this month; come try a 3-Hour Top Water trip it's full of action. My new "Fishing Tip of the Week" is now posted on my web site.
