If your looking for some none stop action catching fish, Ray Roberts is the place to be with the whitebass schooling on top all over the lake you are sure to have no problem limiting out. One of the top baits is a clear torpedo. I like taking off the front hook, It makes it alot easier taking off the fish without getting hooked yourself and trust me the back hook is all you need. We have been catching hundreds of whites on top some small and some large but none stop action. The schooling action has been lasting most all morning. Top producing areas are the west end of the dam, out from the marina, west of Wolf Island, by Crappie Island, Cates Point & Barn House Point.

The crappie fishing has been good on brush piles with some nice catches coming off livebait in brush from 15 to 30 ft of water. You can catch crappie on jigs too but just not as many. Wht/char 1/8oz jigs have been producing good.
