CAPTAIN QUINTON DIETERLE LED SOME NEW ANGLERS TO THE AREA TO A FANTASTIC DAY ON THE RIP. THEY STARTED OF F CATCHING BAIT THAT WAS EASY AT BUG LIGHT. THEY CONTINUED OUT TO THE AREA WE CALL THE PATCH AND CONTINUED THE BAIT PROCESS, CATCHING SOME CIGAR MINNOWS AND GOOGLE EYES. AFTER THE BAIT SUPPLY REACHED WHAT "Q" FELT WAS GOOD FOR CONDITIONS THAT DAY THEY HEADED TO THE EDGE. SOON AFTER REACHING THE EDGE "Q" SPOTTED A FREE JUMPER THAT TURNED OUT TO BE A EPIC BATTLE ON THE EDGE. IT STARTED WITH ONE BITE AND ENDED WITH A TRIPLE BITE, THEY MANAGED TO CATCH TWO OF THE THREE AND DECIDED AT THAT TIME THE CONDITIONS WERE RIGTH TO TRY FOR SOME COBIA. SOON AFTER ENTERING THE AREA THEY SEARCH FOR THE MUD RAYS, WHCIH THE COBIA FOLLOW "Q" AND CAP SPOTTED THE FIRST RAY. AT FIRST THE RAY LOOKED TO BE ALONE, BUT AFTER A CAST IN THE DIRECTION OF THE RAY IT SOON BECAME EVIDENT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. 10 NICE SIZE COBIA JUMPED ON THE BAITS AND THE BATTLE WAS ON. AFTER AN HOUR OF EPIC BATTLES THEY CAPTURED 5 NICE FISH. THE LARGEST WENT 40. AFTER THE CREW FELT THEY HAD HIT THE GROUNDS HARD WHERE THE COBIA FOAM THEY HEADED OUT FOR SOME KINGFISH. SOON THEY HAD 3 NICE KINGS UP TO 10 POUNDS AND LOST ONE AROUND 30 AT THE BOAT WHEN THE MONO LEADER BROKE. ( CAN'T GETEM ALL). SO AT THAT TIME THEY WENT BACK TO THE KITES AND SOON CAPTURED ANOTHER 4 SAILFISH TO GIVE THEM 6 FOR THE DAY. , ,,,,, GREAT TIME FOR ALL,
