There has been good cobia fishing the past several days as the winter migration of these fish seems to have kicked in. On Saturday and Sunday the Lady Pamela II caught cobia both days while live-baiting for sailfish. We also succeeded in releasing a few nice sailfish in between the cobia catches!

On Monday the 15th, the Lady Pamela II got into a big school of dolphin, pulling in 18 nice keepers. One of our other boats got a bull shark, a sailfish, a cobia and a couple of kingfish that really gave our anglers a workout. There are plenty of kingfish and blackfin tunas along the reef, and now that the cobia are moving through the Ft. Lauderdale fishing action looks to be red hot for at least the next week or two.

Let's go fishing!
