Grouper season began May 1st and so did an offshore current that has been running north at a blistering 4 knots plus out in the deep! Determined to make it happen anyway, Adam Reed jigged up a nice 'gag' on his new Shimano spinning rig first thing in the AM on Sunday. With parents Roxanne and John lending support, we caught our limit of amberjack and two nice mahi mahi at the end of the day. And yes, the ocean was a bit 'sporty' once again. I was too busy hanging on in the tower to get dolphin photos this blustery afternoon
Grouper Season.......Finally!
