Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/8/07
It was another great week on the water; we caught good numbers, some big fish and had a great time. Lake Guntersville as it usually does in late June early July was the place to be for you bass fishing enthusiasts.
Most of the week there was a great top water bite early and late and during the day the big worm and "Punishers Flame Spinner Bait" produced some strong catches. We also had a day where the flipping bite with a 1 oz. Tight Line Jig was the bait of choice.
The lake is as strong as I have seen it this year, there's numbers, plenty of big fish and they are hitting a variety of baits. The fish aren't everywhere but when you find them they are bunched up and cause a great flurry of bites in a short period of time.
I still have some open dates for this up coming week as well as some other days in July and August. Come try one of my 3-Hour Top Water Excursions they help you beat the heat; we are catching fish and having fun!
