Well we just got our first good cold front to pass through Florida today, the wind has pick up to 20-30mph and choppy seas. No worries by Friday it will be flat calm again here in Fl. Fishing is really good right now and will just get better and better. Trout are staging in 1 to 3 feet around kelp grass, oyster bars, and rocky bottom use a top water lure for some of the best action you can get. Rap Skitter walks are my choice the SW8 in the white, mullet, trout, and bone colors all produce monster trout. The size of the trout right now are 17 to 28" please let the big female trout go back anything over 23" needs to be released.

Red fish are on the prowl, look for the massive mullet schools that are running around the inshore and back country waters. Top water lures are very good to use this time of year these fish are hungry and ready to eat. If you like to use bait fresh cut mullet and live pin fish are the best bait right now, I like a 3/0 circle hook with a 25 to 30lb leader for bait fishing for reds. The schools of reds are 20-25" and 3 to 10 fish per school.

We got our mackerel run in full swing right now target water depth of 6 to 10 feet look for bait pods that are making there way south, a silver spoon with a 8" light wire works or a live green back with a long shank 2/0 hook also works great the size of the macks are 16 to 25" with a few 30" mix in.

The shallow water grouper action is picking up as well, keeper grouper are coming out of 8 to 20 feet on rocks and ledges, frozen sardines or fresh mullet chunks will work very good make sure you use heavy tackle for the big guys.

Fishing is very good right now and catching a mix bag is no problem, book a trip with me and lets get on this great action.
