Fraser River Guided Salmon Fishing Trips : The Fraser river will open on July 16 for the retention of Chinook salmon, details are: Effective one hour before sunrise on Friday, July 16th and until one hour after sunset Thursday, July 29th, the daily limit for wild or hatchery marked Chinook salmon is one (1) per day with a minimum length of 30 cm and a maximum length of 77 cm. Effective one hour before sunrise on Friday, July 30th and until one hour after sunset Tuesday, August 31, the daily limit for wild or hatchery marked Chinook salmon is four (4) per day with only one over 50 cm.
River Fly Fishing Trips: Bull Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden are available on the upper Pitt River through July.
